Claiborne (knee) may not be ready for the start of training camp, the Dallas Morning News reports.

Analysis:

The Cowboys aren't expecting Claiborne to be involved in any spring OTAs, however, as he recovers from a ruptured patellar tendon. "We are hopeful about [Claiborne returning for] training camp," Cowboys coach Jason Garrett said. "He might be one of those guys who doesn't start right away in training camp. But that's a long way off. That's premature. But I wouldn't anticipate him being too involved in the spring." With Claiborne having been a disappointment so far in his career and Brandon Carr getting older, look for the Cowboys to add more secondary depth in the draft if they can.
