Brian Spurlock / USA TODAY Sports

Every Friday, theScore's NFL editors will bring you a roundup of everything you need to know from around the division with the AFC East Notebook.

Buffalo Bills

Ryan charismatic, careful at combine. Rex Ryan opened his media session at the scouting combine with a somewhat bizarre story about the Buffalo Bisons and was his usual captivating self. He also showed some restraint when asked to comment on Darrelle Revis (which may have constituted tampering).

Bills have second-largest coaching staff. The Bills have 24 assistant coaches on staff, putting them behind only the Jacksonville Jaguars on the list of largest coaching staffs.

Should Bills trade for Bradford? St. Louis Rams quarterback Sam Bradford has reportedly been granted the ability to seek a trade. Should the Bills have interest?

Miami Dolphins

Hickey won't discuss Tannehill's contract. General manager Dennis Hickey refused to comment on contract talks with Ryan Tannehill while addressing the media at the scouting combine Wednesday.

Salary cap could be an issue. ThePhinsider.com takes a look at the "curious case of the Dolphins' salary cap space."

Ex-Dolphin's boat found. Rob Konrad, who says he fell overboard during a fishing trip and swam nine miles to shore, finally got his boat back. It recently crashed onto a beach after reportedly suffering $70,000 in damages

New England Patriots

Butler shaped by second chances. ESPNBoston.com's Jackie MacMullan has an excellent (and very long) piece on Malcolm Butler's ascension from troubled student to Super Bowl hero

Florida State could be pipeline to Patriots. Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald examines the idea of the Patriots building their offensive line around Bryan Stork with more players from Florida State

Belichick stays silent. Bill Belichick was among seven head coaches not scheduled to speak to the media at the scouting combine. Belichick wasn't scheduled to speak a year ago, either, but held an impromptu media session midway through the week.

New York Jets

Still no Harvin decision. The Jets' brain trust made it clear while speaking to reporters Wednesday that the team is still evaluating whether to retain receiver Percy Harvin for next season.

What Bowles learned. New Jets head coach Todd Bowles spent the 2012 season as the Philadelphia Eagles' defensive backs coach. The Eagles went 4-12 and head coach Andy Reid was fired. Bowles said Wednesday the season was a learning experience that helped him grow stronger as a coach

Ex-Jets rip team. Former Jets tight end Kellen Winslow echoed former Jets running back Chris Johnson's recent comments about his role on the team being unclear
