Moore (hip) is expected to miss OTAs in May and June, but should be healthy by the start of training camp, CSN Bay Area reports. "He should be ready," general manager Reggie McKenzie said. "There's nothing negative to suggest that he won't be ready for training camp. He had major surgery, so it's going to take him awhile to get back. We're not going to have him push through just to have him ready for the start of OTAs."
Analysis:
After suffering a hip injury in December, Moore was shut down for the final three games of the regular season and eventually had surgery in January. With a long recovery expected, he won't be active when the Raiders' offseason program commences on Apr. 6, and an appearance in OTAs likely won't come to pass. In two professional campaigns, he's proved his all-around prowess at outside linebacker, racking up 140 tackles, 7.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles in 26 games.
