Every Friday, theScore's NFL editors will bring you a roundup of everything you need to know from around the division with the NFC South Notebook.

Carolina Panthers

Panthers have to decide on Hardy: Greg Hardy's contract is set to expire, and the Carolina Panthers have a tough decision to make about his future with the club. The Charlotte Observer's Tom Sorensen breaks down the Panthers' perspective on Hardy.

Panthers will continue training at Wofford College: The Panthers will continue to train at Wofford College through 2019. Carolina signed a five-year extension with the college to keep it as its training base for the summer.

Hardy could net Panthers draft pick: If Hardy opts not to return to the Panthers after March 10, the team will be eligible for a compensatory draft pick. ESPN's David Newton breaks down the possible scenario.

Atlanta Falcons

Shanahan compares Jones to Andre Johnson: Offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan will have plenty of weapons to work with in Atlanta and compared Julio Jones to Andre Johnson. Jones caught 104 passes for 1,593 yards and six touchdowns.

Falcons revamp coaching staff: The Falcons added many new coaches in the offseason, with new head coach Dan Quinn retaining just five members of last year's staff. The staff was finalized Tuesday.

Smith puts emphasis on speed: Falcons defensive coordinator Richard Smith wants his new defense to be a speedy, physical unit. Smith will also put an emphasis on forcing turnovers next season.

New Orleans Saints

Saints bring Allen on board: New Orleans added former Oakland Raiders head coach Dennis Allen to its coaching staff this week. Allen had been with the Saints from 2006-10.

Judge rules Benson needs help managing assets: As Saints owner Tom Benson remains in a legal battle with his family over his trust, a judge delivered an interesting ruling. It was deemed Benson needs help at this time managing his assets

Saints reportedly re-sign Graham: The Saints reportedly re-signed kicker Shayne Graham to a one-year deal Thursday. Graham was 19-of-22 on field goals last season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

McCown released: The Josh McCown experiment is officially over in Tampa. The Bucs released the most coveted free-agent quarterback from a year ago on Wednesday. This leaves little doubt Tampa will be selecting a quarterback first overall.

Buccaneers reportedly want Winston: Tampa Bay holds the first overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and reportedly has strong interest in Florida State's Jameis Winston. The Buccaneers are widely expected to take a quarterback and it's considered a two-man race between Winston and Oregon's Marcus Mariota.

Glennon could be dealt: With McCown gone and a quarterback likely to be taken in the draft, that leaves little room for Mike Glennon. He's been the subject of trade rumors before and there's a chance he could be dealt before the draft.
