Report: Trent Richardson suspension voids 2015 salary

Former sports agent Joel Corry confirmed Tuesday that the Indianapolis Colts' suspension of running back Trent Richardson will void the $3.1 million remaining on Richardson's contract.

Assuming Richardson loses any potential grievances, it's a virtual certainty he'll be released by the Colts without the team incurring any salary cap penalties.

Richardson was suspended for two games after reportedly missing a walk-through practice ahead of the AFC Championship Game.
