Report: Buccaneers' Mike Glennon expected to generate trade interest

With the Tampa Bay Buccaneers holding the No. 1 overall pick in April's draft - and thus in position to select a potential franchise quarterback - it appears their existing young signal caller could be on the move.

Several teams inquired about quarterback Mike Glennon during last year's draft, and there's a belief around the league the 25-year-old will generate trade interest once again this offseason, according to The Tampa Tribune's Roy Cummings.

While it's unclear if the Buccaneers received any sort of substantial offers for Glennon, a lack of other options behind veteran starter Josh McCown likely prevented them from making the move.

Adding a quarterback at the top of the draft could make Glennon expendable, possibly landing Tampa Bay a valuable mid-to-late round selection in return.
