The Oakland Raiders are reportedly meeting with Louisville defensive coordinator Todd Grantham about their vacancy for the same role, according to NBC4's Dianna Marie Russini.
The Raiders' search for a new defensive coordinator under head coach Jack Del Rio has carried on longer than expected, but as Russini adds, Grantham is emerging as a favorite for the job.
Grantham joined Louisville in 2014 after a four-year stint as Georgia's defensive coordinator. He also has 11 years of experience as a defensive assistant at the NFL level, including three seasons spent as the Cleveland Browns' defensive coordinator from 2005-07.
