New York Jets defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson likes the idea of Rex Ryan taking over as head coach of the division rival Buffalo Bills.

“That’s hilarious!” Richardson said when asked about his former coach's new gig, according to the New York Post's Bart Hubbuch. “And to be able to face him two times a year? I can’t wait.”

Richardson said he was sorry to see Ryan let go after playing under him in his first two NFL seasons, but is also excited by the addition of former Arizona Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles, who's taking Ryan's place.

Having emerged as one of the league's most dominant interior linemen in 2014, finishing the season with eight sacks and 67 total tackles, Richardson figures to be a key contributor in Bowles' defense for years to come.
