Oklahoma's Dorial Green-Beckham to declare for NFL Draft

Tim Heitman / USA TODAY Sports

Oklahoma wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham has elected to declare for the NFL Draft before ever playing a down for the Sooners, the team announced Tuesday.

Green-Beckham transferred to OU this summer after being kicked off Missouri's squad. He was involved in a burglary and domestic violence incident with his girlfriend in April, a case that closed with no arrests. The NCAA denied Green-Beckham's appeal for immediate eligibility, forcing him to sit out the season.

In two seasons at Mizzou, Green-Beckham recorded 1,278 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns on 87 receptions.

Green-Beckham is reportedly in talks with the NFL about the league's conduct policy and how it could impact his status, according to Sports Illustrated's Thayer Evans, who adds that the wide receiver has yet to officially declare for the draft.

"The source said Green-Beckham told Stoops he wants to enter the NFL draft and still expects Green-Beckham will do so," Evans writes.
