Dolphins' owner: Coach Philbin is coming back in 2015

The Miami Dolphins' wild 37-35 win over the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday was the lifeline that their head coach needed.
Owner Stephen Ross announced that Joe Philbin will return as the team's coach for the 2015 season.
The owner was very forthright about Philbin's status while speaking to reporters in the locker room after the game.
"Here's a Christmas present: You don't have to ask me anymore. He has one year left on (his) contract and is coming back," Ross said, according to Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post.
The victory brings the team's record to 8-7. Philbin has amassed a 23-24 record in three seasons with the team.
