Redskins' Jackson after torching Eagles: 'That's the Philadelphia defense'

Brad Mills-USA TODAY Sports

DeSean Jackson had a very enjoyable Saturday. The Washington wide receiver burned his former Philadelphia team for the second time this season Saturday, making four catches for 126 yards in the Redskins' 27-24 win over the Eagles

Jackson was caught celebrating on video after the game (watch in the post below), and continued torching the Eagles with postgame comments when asked about Philadelphia's coverage - or lack thereof.

That's how they play. They're very naive and they play how they play, so they (can't) care less who's out there or who's at wide receiver. They don't care. That's the Philadelphia Eagles' defense. I've been there a lot of years and witnessed a lot of players, wide receivers, tight ends get off some huge games on them. I'm just happy to be on that side and send them home with a loss.

Philadelphia released Jackson in the spring, and the wideout relished catching nine passes for 243 yards and a touchdown in two games against his former mates.

I think a lot of guys miss me. They tell me that during the game. I have good relationships with a lot of guys over there. They constantly tell me how much they miss me and they wish I was still there. But that's a decision they chose to make in the front office.

The Redskins did serious damage to the Eagles' playoff hopes Saturday, and Jackson couldn't be happier about it. He even used the S-word.

"It was very special for myself," Jackson said. "Being there last year and everything happening. For us to come out on top like that, that's a great one."
