Rookie Report: Beckham Jr., Mosley showing no signs of slowing down

Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

The Rookie Report provides a running look at first-year standouts, surprises and Rookie of the Year candidates.

Here's who stood out during the 15th week of the NFL season, including some names to watch heading into Week 16.

Offense

Odell Beckham Jr.
WR, New York Giants

Beckham Jr. put on yet another show in Week 15, hauling in 12 passes for a team-high 143 yards and three touchdowns in the Giants' 24-13 victory over the Washington Redskins. He finished the game with 972 receiving yards, passing Jeremy Shockey (894) for the most by a rookie in franchise history. It took Beckham Jr. five less games to accomplish the feat, too.

Jeremy Hill
WR, Cincinnati Bengals

Hill rushed for 148 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries in the Bengals' 30-0 blanking of the Cleveland Browns. After scoring on the opening drive of the game, he mimicked NBA star LeBron James' signature chalk toss in the end zone, which didn't go over well with the Dawg Pound.

Kelvin Benjamin
WR, Carolina Panthers

In a showdown between two Offensive Rookie of the Year candidates, it was Benjamin who came out on top. The first-round pick caught eight passes for 104 yards in a 19-17 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, while Mike Evans finished with two catches for 13 yards and a touchdown. It was Benjamin's third 100-yard game, and gives him 952 yards on the season

Jarvis Landry
WR, Miami Dolphins

By this time next week, there is a good chance Landry will have caught more passes than any other rookie in Dolphins history. The second-round pick had eight catches for 99 yards against the New England Patriots, marking his seventh consecutive game with at least five receptions. He's the first Dolphins player to do so since O.J. McDuffie in 1998.

Teddy Bridgewater
QB, Minnesota Vikings

Bridgewater was unable to lead the Vikings past the Detroit Lions in Week 15, but continues to show signs of progress. He threw for 315 yards with one touchdown and two interceptions, and posted his best completion percentage of the season (75.6).

Defense

C.J. Mosley
LB, Baltimore Ravens

Mosley was on the field for every defensive snap in the Ravens' 20-12 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars, finishing with seven tackles, one sack and two quarterback hits. Fellow Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs says Mosley has yet to hit the rookie wall, which has his teammates referring to him as "half-man, half-amazing."

Preston Brown
LB, Buffalo Bills

Brown and the rest of the Bills' defense were unstoppable against the Green Bay Packers, picking off Aaron Rodgers twice and holding him to a career-low 34.3 passer rating. The third-round pick had six tackles in the 21-13 victory, putting him past the 100-tackle mark. It's the first time the Bills have had two rookies exceed the mark in consecutive campaigns (Kiko Alonso had 159 last season).

Khalil Mack
LB, Oakland Raiders

Mack became the ninth rookie linebacker in franchise history to start at least 14 games in the Raiders' 31-13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. He finished the game with six tackles and one pass defended, and did a fair bit of damage in the Chiefs' backfield. He now has four passes defended, tying him with Miles Burris for the second-most by a Raiders rookie.

Aaron Donald
DT, St. Louis Rams

Donald tallied three tackles and a sack (which forced quarterback Drew Stanton out of the game with a knee injury) in a 12-6 loss to the Arizona Cardinals. His eight sacks are the highest by a Rams defensive tackle since D'Marco Farr posted 8 1/2 during the 1999 season, and he ranks third on the team with 25 quarterback pressures.

Ha Ha Clinton-Dix
S, Green Bay Packers

Though the majority of his tackles weren't especially pretty, Clinton-Dix did finish with a season-high 13 against the Bills while playing all 68 of the Packers' defensive snaps. He's now 10 away from breaking the 100-tackle mark.
