Bills deliver Lions pizza, wings for hospitality

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) The Buffalo Bills certainly delivered for the Detroit Lions this week.

First, Buffalo beat Green Bay on Sunday, which allowed the Lions (10-4) to pull even with the Packers atop the NFC North.

On Tuesday, the Bills sent a truckload of pizza and - what else? - wings to the Lions' headquarters. The food was a thank you to the Lions for providing the Bills a home during a snowstorm that paralyzed the Buffalo region last month.

Bills spokesman Scott Berchtold called the food delivery a ''small token of our appreciation for the (Lions') generous hospitality.''

Unable to practice at home, the Bills relocated to the Lions' facility from Nov. 21-23. Then Buffalo beat the New York Jets 38-3 in a ''home'' game at Detroit's Ford Field on Nov. 24.
