Eagles cruise by Cowboys to take control of NFC East

Tim Heitman / USA TODAY Sports

The Philadelphia Eagles rolled to an easy 33-10 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving Thursday thanks in part to a big day from LeSean McCoy.

Here's what you need to know:

  • McCoy ran for 159 yards and a touchdown, marking the second straight week he's run for at least 130 yards. McCoy topped it off with an impressive 38-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, and even decided to mock Dez Bryant with his celebration
  • Jeremy Maclin hit the 1,000-yard receiving mark for the first time in his career. He tallied 108 yards against the Cowboys, hauling in eight of his 10 targets.
  • Mark Sanchez continues to be efficient, going 20-of-29 for 217 yards and a touchdown. He also added 28 rushing yards and a score on the ground.
  • Tony Romo failed to throw a touchdown for the first time in 38 games. He did toss two picks, though. Romo finished the day with 199 yards, completing 18-of-29 passing attempts.
  • DeMarco Murray ran for 73 yards, making it just the second game this season he's failed to hit the century mark. Murray found the end zone for the seventh time this year and caught six passes for 40 yards in the loss.
  • With the win, the Eagles took sole possession of the NFC East lead at 9-3.
