Report: Eagles' Nick Foles to undergo CT scan Friday

Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports / Reuters

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Nick Foles is scheduled to undergo a CT scan Friday on his injured collarbone, Les Bowen of the Philadelphia Daily News reports.

Foles broke his left collarbone in the Eagles' Week 9 victory over the Houston Texans and was projected to miss between six-to-eight weeks.

Jeff McLane of Philly.com reported Wednesday that Foles could be sidelined longer than expected, but one source told Bowen that at this point, there is no reason to believe the recovery will take longer than eight weeks. The source also said Foles is experiencing less tenderness and his strength is improving.

Mark Sanchez is 2-1 as a starter in Foles' absence, but has struggled as of late, throwing six interceptions and turning the ball over eight times in four games.
