Bucs' Lane leaves with right leg injury

CHICAGO (AP) Fullback Jorvorskie Lane has left Tampa Bay's game at Chicago with a right ankle injury.

With the Buccaneers pinned inside their 10 in the second quarter, Lane got an inside handoff and stayed down after a 2-yard carry. He was carted off the field after trainers secured the leg with an air cast.

The team says Lane will miss the rest of Sunday's game. Lane was Tampa Bay's only active fullback.

The Bears lost linebacker Lance Briggs to a groin injury in the second quarter. He was ruled out for the rest of the day.

Chicago cornerback Kyle Fuller also left with a knee injury. It was unclear when his injury occurred.
