Pettigrew's downgrade from full to limited isn't particularly encouraging for his Week 12 prospects. Because the remaining tight end options (Joseph Fauria, Eric Ebron, and Kellen Davis) are healthy, the Lions could arguably exercise caution Sunday at New England and keep Pettigrew on the sideline.
