Every Monday and Friday, theScore's NFL editors will bring you a roundup of everything you need to know from around the division with the NFC North Notebook.

Green Bay Packers

Rodgers not expected to miss time. A hamstring injury had him hobbled for the second half of Sunday night's loss to the New Orleans Saints, but Aaron Rodgers is expected to be ready for the Nov. 9 game against the Chicago Bears following this week's bye.

Adams emerging quickly. Rookie wide receiver Davante Adams found himself in a crowded position battle to start the season, but his most productive game yet has seen him emerge as a key factor in the Packers' high-powered passing attack.

Poppinga questions McCarthy. Questionable decisions from the Packers' sideline played a significant role in Sunday night's loss to the Saints, former linebacker Brady Poppinga writes.

Detroit Lions

Fairley a big loss. The Lions have had their share of injury problems already, but the loss of Nick Fairley is a significant blow to what has been a dominant defensive front.

Van Noy set to return. Sidelined since August after hernia surgery, second-round linebacker Kyle Van Noy is ready to return and could make his NFL debut next week against the Miami Dolphins.

Tate signing paying off. Wide receiver Golden Tate has helped the Lions offense to remain productive in the absence of Calvin Johnson, and he sits atop NFL.com's list of the top free-agent pickups half-way through the season.

Chicago Bears

Bears considering offensive line reshuffle. With the season-ending injury to left guard Matt Slauson, the Bears are discussing a reshuffle of the offensive front that could include Jordan Mills moving inside to guard.

Bears seeking bye-week turnaround. The bye week couldn't come at a better time for a struggling and frustrated Bears team, as they'll look to make some adjustments during the time off with the hopes of turning their season around.

Defense not improving. Due to both injury issues and underachieving players, the Bears' defense has yet to live up to expectations and has failed to improve much over last season's unit.

Minnesota Vikings

McKinnon in for a big game. Starting to emerge as a reliable option in the Vikings' backfield, rookie running back Jerick McKinnon could be in for a big game against the Redskins on Sunday.

Cassel staying involved. A foot injury brought an early end to Matt Cassel's season, but the quarterback is still managing to stay involved with the team and help them during his rehab.

Patterson looking to build on success. Rookie wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson is coming off the best game of his rookie season to this point, and is looking to build on that success in the passing game this week.
