Every Monday and Friday, theScore's NFL editors will bring you a roundup of everything you need to know from around the division with the NFC East Notebook.

Dallas Cowboys

Romo to play if pain is tolerable. Quarterback Tony Romo continues to deal with a back injury suffered Monday night against the Washington Redskins, but he says he'll play Sunday as long as the pain is tolerable.

Weeden ready if needed. Romo hasn't been ruled out to play in Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals, but the extra practice reps Brandon Weeden has seen throughout the year has him ready for any opportunity.

Cowboys must stop Cardinals' pressure. Struggles with the Redskins' blitz packages played a big part in the Cowboys coming up short in Monday night's game. They'll have to get that corrected against a strong Cardinals pass rush.

Lawrence to make his debut. Defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, a second-round pick, is set to make his NFL debut Sunday. He could give the Cowboys' pass rush a much-needed boost moving forward.

Washington Redskins

Griffin to start. Quarterback Robert Griffin III is set to play for the first time since he suffered an ankle injury in Week 2, as the team feels he is both physically and mentally ready to return.

Breeland, Amerson stepping up. An early season injury to DeAngelo Hall had the Redskins' cornerback situation looking like one of the NFL's worst, but Bashaud Breeland and David Amerson are stepping up and playing at a high level.

Haslett says blitzing was "over the top." The Redskins found success with their pressure packages in Monday night's win over the Cowboys, but defensive coordinator Jim Haslett admitted that the constant blitzes were a bit much.

Morris credits halftime adjustments. Running back Alfred Morris looked like a completely different player in the second half Monday night and he says the improvements came as a result of mental adjustments made at halftime.

Philadelphia Eagles

Offensive line in tough. The Eagles' offensive line is finally close to getting healthy after a rough start to the year, but a matchup with J.J. Watt and a dominant Texans defensive front won't exactly make things easy Sunday.

Culture is key. The Eagles have enjoyed their share of success since Chip Kelly took over as head coach prior to the 2013 season. The team credits the change in culture for the results.

Nick Foles looking to minimize mistakes. Nick Foles understands what needs to be done to fix what's been going wrong with the offense thus far, but he also knows that he has to prove it on the field.

New York Giants

Manning confident in offense. Despite general manager Jerry Reese's insistence that the Giants need a less conservative offense, quarterback Eli Manning remains confident in the new-look passing game.

Strahan to be honored. Newly enshrined Hall of Fame defensive end Michael Strahan will be presented with his Hall of Fame ring during a halftime ceremony Monday night.

Coughlin wants big plays. Head coach Tom Coughlin wants his team to think about more than just X's and O's. He wants big plays.
