Report: Cowboys' Randle cracked jokes after shoplifting arrest

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Joseph Randle was in a pretty good mood for someone being booked into jail.

The Dallas Cowboys' running back was making jokes after his arrest on Oct. 13 for stealing cologne and underwear, reports CBSDFW.com, who posted video footage from Frisco City jail.

"If I give you $100 can you give me a massage?" Randle asked a female officer. He then expressed concern about his mug shot:

Take a good picture. I'm not about to look like a criminal in this mug shot. How's my mug shot look?

"This is not a damn trading card," an officer replied after Randle asked why his height and weight weren't listed on his mug shot.

After making an unauthorized phone call, Randle asked, "Hey, is this gonna be on the news, you think?"

Randle was charged with a Class B misdemeanor. You can read more on the incident, including his apology, in the storyline below.
