Hot take alert! TheMMQB's Greg Bedard says Andrew Luck may be the NFL's next great quarterback, but he isn't there yet. Bedard says those who believe Luck is playing at the same level as Peyton Manning and Aaron Rodgers aren't watching closely enough.

Moncrief breaks out. Rookie receiver Donte Moncrief got increased playing time with Reggie Wayne injured and didn't disappoint, tallying 113 yards and a touchdown. After the game, Luck compared Moncrief's play to that of a veteran

Houston Texans

Watt rips rookie. J.J. Watt celebrated a sack of Titans rookie quarterback Zach Mettenberger by miming taking a selfie. After the game, he explained that he did it to remind Mettenberger, who posted several selfies to his social media accounts in the run up to the game, that "this is the NFL, not high school."

Foster powers team to win. Arian Foster showed what he's capable of when fully healthy, totally 151 yards on 20 carries and scoring two touchdowns. His teammates praised his vision and cutting ability after the game. 

Fitzpatrick takes blame for sacks. Ryan Fitzpatrick was sacked five times Sunday. After the game, he was quick to take the blame off his linemen's shoulders and put it on himself

Jacksonville Jaguars

Bortles feels responsible. Blake Bortles threw two interceptions and lost a fumble in Sunday's loss. After the game, he accepted his mistakes likely led to the loss. "I'm killing us," Bortles said before promising to improve

Defense plays well without Posluszny. Playing in its first game without linebacker Paul Posluszny, the Jaguars defense held strong for the most part against the Miami Dolphins. Linebacker J.T. Thomas and defensive end Ryan Davis are two players who stepped up.

Pigeon becomes star. The Jaguars' loss was so depressing that fans watching the game on TV decided to make a pigeon that briefly appeared on the broadcast a star. The hashtag #JacksonvillePigeon was born

Tennessee Titans

Mettenberger shows promise but can't solve Titans' woes. Rookie Zach Mettenberger was uneven in his first start as a pro, throwing two touchdowns but also surrendering sacks and missing some of his throws. After the game, Mettenberger said his next step is to watch the film and figure out how to improve

Titans going nowhere. The bad news for Titans fans? The season is only half over. David Climer of The Tennessean ponders how this team managed to win two games and predicts there's a lot more bad football to come. 

Former Titan Ayers has big debut with Patriots. Former Titans linebacker Akeem Ayers, traded to the New England Patriots days ago, registered five tackles and a sack in his debut in blue and red.
