Aaron Rodgers: Appears To Tweak Leg/Hammy

Rodgers completed 28-of-39 passes for 418 yards, with a touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 44-23 loss to the Saints. He added two carries for 21 yards and a rushing touchdown, but he appeared to hurt his leg on the first of those carries.

Analysis:

Rodgers appeared to be headed for a massive game when he found Randall Cobb for a 70-yard touchdown on the Packers' opening possession. Instead, the Packers scored points on all four of their first-half drives, but were held to three field goals, after the lone touchdown. Green Bay continued to move the ball in the second half, Rodgers had a pair of deflected passes picked off in Saints' territory. While not entirely free of blame, Rodgers didn't get much help from his intended receiver on either play. The first interception notably came just three plays after Rodgers appeared to injure his leg on a scramble, and while he remained in the contest until garbage time, he was clearly favoring the leg. He even looked a bit injured on his 14-yard touchdown scramble in the fourth quarter, before being replaced by Matt Flynn for the meaningless final two drives. The apparent injury at least comes at a convenient time for owners, as the Packers have a Week 9 bye, followed by an excellent matchup against a leaky Chicago defense.
