Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger became the first player in NFL history to throw for 500 yards twice in his career, accomplishing the feat against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

Roethlisberger completed 40-of-49 passes for 522 yards and six touchdowns, as the Steelers took down the Colts 51-34. The quarterback set a personal record with respect to yardage, eclipsing his previous high of 503 yards, which also came against the Colts.

Roethlisberger set another record with the win, the 100th of his career, becoming the fourth quarterback to reach 100 victories in 150 or fewer starts, joining elite company in the process: Terry Bradshaw, Tom Brady, and Joe Montana. Sunday's game was Roethlisberger's 150th start.

"I've been blessed to play on some great football teams and to be a part of a great franchise," Roethlisberger said. "To have my name on a list with the other guys up there is a humbling honor."
