Indianapolis Colts

Bradshaw goes for receiving record: Ahmad Bradshaw has caught six receiving touchdowns and is aiming for the NFL record (nine). Bradshaw is third on the team in catches behind T.Y. Hilton and Reggie Wayne.

Luck shows respect for Ben Roethlisberger: Ben Roethlisberger's career is a pretty good one to emulate for any young quarterback, and Andrew Luck is a fan of his ability to extend plays down field. 

Jackson wants to retire as a Colt: D'Qwell Jackson spent the entirety of his career with the Cleveland Browns, but is fitting in right away with the Colts saying that he wants to end his career in Indianapolis.

Houston Texans

O'Brien says Cushing is day-to-day: Texans head coach Bill O'Brien refuted a report alleging that Brian Cushing could be out until Week 11. Cushing is day-to-day and may play against the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.

Mallett is ready to play if asked to: Texans backup quarterback Ryan Mallett is itching to play and says he's prepared to play Sunday if he's called upon to do so. He's never started a game in his NFL career. 

Fitzpatrick says he can play better: Texans quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick is unhappy with his performance and says he can play better. The Texans have lost their last three games. Fitzpatrick's seven interceptions are the third-highest total in the league.

Tennessee Titans

Mettenberger's appearance goes viral: Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger met reporters sporting a headband and a mustache, reminding some people of their favourite movie characters. We'll leave it up to you to decide.

Locker frustrated with demotion: Jake Locker has been replaced by Mettenberger as the Titans' starting quarterback. Predictably, Locker isn't all too happy about the demotion.

Lewan opts for settlement over trial: Titans rookie offensive tackle Taylor Lewan has opted to settle rather than go to trial for three misdemeanor assault charges. The incidents happened when Lewan was a student at the University of Michigan.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Ball expects to play again this year: Jaguars cornerback Alan Ball suffered a biceps injury against the Cleveland Browns and is concerned about his status. However, Ball expects to play again sometime this season.

Sanders on the verge of first return TD: Jaguars kick returner Ace Sanders thought he'd have his first return touchdown by this point in his career. However, Sanders isn't lacking confidence and feels that he's close to taking one back.

Davis, Thomas have chance to shine: With Andre Branch and Paul Posluszny going down with injuries, J.T. Thomas and Ryan Davis have a chance to make a name for themselves. Thomas said it was a dream come true.
