While Griffin is clearly progressing, coach Jay Gruden has stated that the QB has to prove he is completely healthy before returning to the Washington lineup. In any case, Gruden plans to make a final decision on the team's Week 8 starter Thursday afternoon, but as it stands, it appears as though McCoy is on track to start the contest.
