The Chiefs indicated Wednesday that Charles -- who absorbed a helmet-to-helmet hit this past Sunday -- has passed a battery of tests and does not display signs of a concussion, the Associated Press reports.

Analysis:

Following comments made by Charles on Tuesday on ESPN Radio, which suggested that the running back had his bell rung Sunday, the team checked Charles out, but team trainer Rick Burkholder indicated that Charles passed all of his concussion tests in advance of Wednesday's practice. "We're not classifying him as having a concussion," Burkholder noted Wednesday. "But as with all of our players, I'll monitor him as he goes and he'll go through practice today."
