Saints' Khiry Robinson misses practice Wednesday

Joe Camporeale / USA TODAY Sports

New Orleans Saints running back Khiry Robinson missed practice on Wednesday with a forearm injury.

Reporters spotted the West Texas A&M product wearing a brace on his hand and forearm in the locker room Wednesday but Robinson told them, "I have a little boo-boo, but I'm straight," according to Ramon Antonio Vargas of the New Orleans Advocate.

The Saints' backfield has been marred by injuries this season, with Pierre Thomas out an expected two-to-three weeks and Mark Ingram missing three games before returning in Week 7's loss to the Detroit Lions.

If Robinson is unable to play against the Green Bay Packers in Week 8, Ingram would be in line to take a majority of the carries with Travaris Cadet taking over third-down duties.
