Fuller will not require surgery on his broken hand, ESPNChicago.com's Jeff Dickerson reports.

Analysis:

The positive diagnosis would seem to give Fuller some hope of playing in Week 8 against the Patriots, but the cornerback must also recover from a right hip pointer injury that resulted in his removal Sunday against the Dolphins. If either the hip or hand ailment prevent him from suiting up this week, Sherrick McManis would likely step in as the starting corner opposite Tim Jennings.
