Wayne could miss a game or two due to the elbow injury he suffered in Sunday's game versus the Bengals, Mike Chappell of RTV6 Indianapolis reports.

Analysis:

Wayne underwent an MRI on his injured elbow Monday and although those results have not been released yet, the veteran's ailment is not considered serious. Nonetheless, reports suggest Wayne may be sidelined for a game or two because of his banged-up elbow. After falling on his left arm during the first quarter of Sunday's game, Wayne went on to finish with just four catches for 15 yards and two dropped passes. Should Wayne indeed miss some time, Hakeem Nicks and rookie Donte Moncrief figure to fill expanded roles alongside explosive receiver T.Y. Hilton.
