Fred Jackson: (Groin) Expected to Miss Four Weeks
Jackson (groin) won't require surgery, but said that his injury is typically one that requires a four-week absence, ESPN Buffalo's Mike Rodak reports.
Analysis:
C.J. Spiller is expected to miss the rest of the season with a broken collarbone, leaving Boobie Dixon and Bryce Brown with opportunities for an expanded role in the Buffalo backfield. Presumably, Dixon will have the larger role, as Brown was inactive for the Week 7 game against Minnesota, but it's possible that Brown will end up carving out the larger role. With a four-week absence, Jackson may be out until Week 12 against the Jets.
