McFadden said Friday that this is the best he has felt this deep into a season since he joined the NFL in 2008, the Bay Area News Group reports. "I tell a lot of people I talk to, I tell them this is the best I've felt five, six games into the season," McFadden said. "It may not show on the stats but it's the best I've felt. I don't have any nagging injuries, nicks or anything slowing me down. So, I feel like I can go out there and just let it loose 100 percent."

Analysis:

The seventh-year back looked spry coming off the bye week, gaining 80 yards on 14 carries against San Diego, his highest rushing total since Sept. 15, 2013. McFadden failed to exceed 3.8 yards per carry in any of his first four games of the season, but it appears he'll continue to head the Raiders' ground attack, with Maurice-Jones Drew playing a complementary role. However, while his health is intact now, injury concerns will always exist with McFadden, something owners need to remember when considering his rest-of-season value.
