Darren Sproles: (Knee) Slight MCL Tear

Sproles (knee) suffered a slight MCL tear in his left knee and is expected to be out at least two weeks, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Analysis:

Sproles twisted his left knee during Sunday night's blowout win but was able to walk off the field under his own power. Nonetheless, the speedy running back required an MRI on Monday, when a slight MCL tear was revealed. Fortunately, the Eagles are entering their bye week, so although Sproles has been ruled out for at least two weeks, the best-case scenario would only result in him missing Philadelphia's Week 8 game against the Cardinals.
