Barnidge is the better pass-catcher of the two and head coach Ron Rivera commented that the addition of Mike Tolbert as a blocker could allow the tight ends to catch more passes. That being said, Greg Olsen remains the firm No. 1 in Carolina and Barnidge, if he does make the team, isn't expected to have a big impact.
