Report: Cowboys' Bruce Carter out vs. Texans after straining quad

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Bruce Carter won't play Sunday against the Houston Texans because of a quad strain, according to The Dallas Morning News.
It's a tough loss for a Cowboys defense that has exceeded expectations so far this season.
Carter has been a pleasant surprise on a linebacking corps missing Sean Lee. He has 25 tackles and a sack this season to go along with a pick-6 that powered Dallas to a win over the St. Louis Rams in Week 3.
