Analysis:

Norman will replace teammate Melvin White as the Panthers' starter opposite Antoine Cason for Sunday's Week 5 contest. His promotion comes in the wake of White conceding a pair of touchdowns against the Ravens. However, Norman is no stranger to starting. In fact, as a rookie in 2012, he started the first 12 games of his career. He finished that season with 73 tackles (52) and two interceptions. While inconsistent play has limited his involvement since then, the third-year cornerback will get a chance to prove himself within Carolina's first-team defense once again Sunday.
