Lovie Smith not ready to name Mike Glennon full-time starter

Despite an impressive performance leading the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to their first victory of the season Sunday, Mike Glennon still hasn't done enough to supplant the injured Josh McCown as the starting quarterback, according to his head coach.

“Are you asking me to name our starting quarterback right now?’’ Lovie Smith said via ESPN.com. “What I do is look at who’s available at the time and who gives us our best chance to win at all positions. "We’ll do the same thing when Josh gets back. He’s not back yet.’’

McCown figures to be out at least a few more weeks with an injured thumb, so Glennon will have a few more opportunities to convince Smith once and for all.
