While that lack of production certainly is not what owners have come to expect from Johnson, the star wideout's ankle condition is said to be improving, and any additional rest should benefit him as well. With Johnson and the Lions expected to continue their conservative approach toward his sprained ankle, his progress should be monitored leading up to Sunday's game versus the Bills.
