Taylor (arm) expects to be sidelined for six weeks, FOX Sports reports.
Analysis:
Taylor suffered a broken arm last Sunday, but has remained on the Steelers' roster in hopes of being available some time later this season. According to Taylor, that appears a likely possibility, after the cornerback had two plates and 15 screws inserted in his arm this week. As a result, the veteran anticipates being able to return in six weeks, although it remains to be seen how reliable that self-prognosis actually is. Until Taylor is ready to play, William Gay will serve as the Steelers' starting cornerback opposite Cortez Allen.
