LaDainian Tomlinson: 'I would take Le'Veon Bell over any running back in the league'

The NFL is chock-full of ultra-talented running backs.

Some, like Marshawn Lynch, Arian Foster and DeMarco Murray, have piled up rushing yards through three games. Others, like Jamaal Charles and LeSean McCoy, through a combination of injury and ineffectiveness, haven't quite hit their stride.

Although the aforementioned men are either off to great starts or have a proven track record of producing big numbers, former five-time Pro Bowler LaDainian Tomlinson would take Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le'Veon Bell over all of them.

Let me just say this: Right now, I would take Le'Veon Bell over any running back in the league," Tomlinson said on Tuesday's edition of NFL Total Access (via NFL.com). "He can do it all, people. He can run inside, he has the speed to turn the corner, he can catch the football, he's versatile, he's athletic. I love Le'Veon Bell."

Bell has proven to be the straw that stirs the drink in Pittsburgh, rushing for 315 yards and a touchdown, while adding 13 receptions for 146 yards. His 461 yards from scrimmage are good for first in the NFL.
