Every Monday and Friday, theScore's NFL editors will bring you a roundup of everything you need to know from around the division with the NFC West Notebook.

Arizona Cardinals

Cardinals improve to 3-0. The Cardinals were without starting quarterback Carson Palmer for a second consecutive game as he nurses a shoulder injury, but kept their winning streak alive with a 23-14 victory over the division rival 49ers.

Finding success in the fourth quarter. One of the big reasons for the Cardinals' perfect 3-0 record is the team's ability to dominate late in the game. Arizona has outscored its opponents 30-0 in the fourth quarter.

Fight breaks out in stands. Things got ugly during Sunday's game when a bloody brawl broke out between Cardinals and 49ers fans. Hopefully no one was seriously hurt.

Seattle Seahawks

Overtime thriller. Sunday's Super Bowl rematch proved an exciting one, as the Seahawks defeated the Denver Broncos 26-20 in overtime. "The NFL needed this game," quarterback Russell Wilson said afterwards.

Okung downplays shoulder injury. Left tackle Russell Okung looked to be in a lot of pain as he exited the field with a shoulder injury, but he was able to return to the game, and insisted afterwards that he's "fine."

Meet "Boom." The Seahawks introduced a new mascot Sunday. According to the team, Boom "hitched a ride in Blitz's time machine" to join the team's existing mascot in Seattle.

St. Louis Rams

Davis throws for over 300 yards. Third-stringer-turned-starter Austin Davis completed 30-of-42 passes for 327 yards, three touchdowns, and two interceptions in the Rams' 34-31 loss to the Dallas Cowboys.

Tempers flare. Following a dropped touchdown pass in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game, Rams quarterback Davis tried to high-five tight end Jared Cook, but Cook shoved him instead. Cook apologized after the game, calling his actions "unintentional and in the heat of the moment."

Stock down. The Rams have just one sack through three games, which has Nick Wagoner of ESPN.com questioning how successful their pass rush can be without Chris Long.

San Francisco 49ers

Boldin blames the refs. Penalties proved costly for the 49ers again Sunday, as the team committed nine for 107 yards in their loss to the Cardinals. 49ers wide receiver Anquan Boldin spoke with reporters after the game, and didn't hold back in his criticism of the referees.

Kaepernick reportedly fined for using racial slur. According to Jay Glazer of FOX Sports, Colin Kaepernick was fined $11,025 for using a racial slur in the 49ers' Week 2 loss to the Chicago Bears.

Jekyll and Hyde. Much like in their loss to the Bears, the 49ers collapsed in the second half of Sunday's game. Asked if he understands his team's Jekyll-and-Hyde routine, head coach Jim Harbaugh replied, "No, I don't."
