Steelers' Ike Taylor suffers broken forearm vs. Panthers

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Ike Taylor exited Sunday night's game against the Carolina Panthers with a broken forearm, according to ESPN's Scott Brown.

The injury occurred on a play in which Taylor was making a tackle. Teammate Lawrence Timmons came in to finish the play and the ensuing collision between the two led to Taylor's forearm bending awkwardly.

He was down for a while, eventually an air cast was put on the arm and Taylor was assisted off the field.

One would hope we haven't seen the last of the 12-year veteran, who has been a staple in the Steelers' secondary for over a decade.
