Every Monday and Friday, theScore's NFL editors will bring you a roundup of everything you need to know from around the division with the NFC West Notebook.

Arizona Cardinals

Bruce Arians addresses Jonathan Dwyer's status. Arians spoke to the media Thursday and said the team would welcome Dwyer back if he's exonerated after being arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault.

Carson Palmer's status remains unclear. Arians doesn't see a clear timeline for Palmer's return, saying he could be out a day, or as much as a month.

Tedd Ginn Jr. wins special teams honor. The veteran return man was named the NFC's Special Teams Player of the Week after returning a punt for a touchdown last weekend.

San Francisco 49ers

A report indicates police visited Ray McDonald's home back in May. That's in addition to an August incident which has kept him in the public spotlight of late. The incident in May reportedly involved a firearm.

Official maintains Colin Kaepernick used inappropriate language. Kaepernick intends to appeal his fine for using inappropriate language in Sunday's loss to the Chicago Bears, but the side judge from that game, Laird Hayes, insists he made the right call.

Vernon Davis avoids structural damage to ankle. The injury was suffered in Sunday's game against the Bears, and it's held Davis out of practice through Thursday.

Seattle Seahawks

Richard Sherman still running his mouth. Despite a heavily publicized Super Bowl rematch scheduled for Sunday, the Seahawks' top corner continues to go at last weekend's opponent, saying he doesn't care about the "little Chargers."

Earl Thomas is refocused after Sunday's loss. The All-Pro safety wasn't happy with his performance on Sunday, and told ESPN the loss has revived his desire to succeed.

The Seahawks have serious attitude this week. Pete Caroll told ESPN that the attitude of his players this week is "serious, really serious."

St. Louis Rams

Shaun Hill has been limited in practice. The Rams' starting quarterback remains day-to-day with a quad injury, but is expected to draw the start Sunday if he's good to go, despite rookie Austin Davis leading the team to a victory last Sunday.

Stedman Bailey reinstated. The Rams' sophomore wide receiver was reinstated after the league and its player association announced a new drug policy Wednesday. He'll have missed only two games after originally facing a four-game ban.

DeMarco Murray has shredded the Rams in recent meetings. ESPN notes that the Cowboys' lead back has enjoyed a ton of success against the Rams, rushing for 428 yards on 51 carries in the last two meetings, including a franchise-record 253 yards on Oct. 23, 2011.
