AFC South Notebook: Johnson having fun again; Henne knows he has to win

Kyle Terada / USA TODAY Sports

Every Monday and Friday, theScore's NFL editors will bring you a roundup of everything you need to know from around the division with the AFC West Notebook.

Houston Texans

Johnson says things are fun again. Receiver Andre Johnson, who reportedly requested a trade this offseason (that feels like ages ago now) says he's having fun playing football again. "Being around here, back around the team, it almost feels like I’m back in college," Johnson said. "Football is fun. You’re enjoying it, the coaches making things fun, they’re not just walking around with a sad face and not interacting with the players."

Watt to get more looks at TE. Defensive end J.J. Watt scored the first offensive touchdown of his career in Week 2, and head coach Bill O'Brien says the Texans plan to use him as a red zone weapon more in the future

Foster rips beer company. NFL sponsor Anheuser-Busch issued a scathing statement in response to the NFL's recent domestic violence issues, and running back Arian Foster responded on Twitter with some harsh words of his own for the Budweiser producer. "Domestic violence and alcohol damn near synonymous," Foster tweeted.

Indianapolis Colts

Colts roster and scheme a poor match? Are the Colts trying to force a square peg in a round hole with their player personnel and scheme on offense? Perhaps the team would be better suited abandoning the running game and running a true spread offense

Richardson turning the corner? Did running back Trent Richardson have his best game as a Colt in Week 2? The much-maligned back carried the ball 21 times for 79 yards - not exactly record-breaking stats, but far better than a typical week for Richardson. The question now is if he can build on it.

Hamilton can take the heat. Offensive coordinator Pep Hamilton has been blamed by many for the Colts' offensive struggles this season. He says he knows it comes with the territory. "That is the nature of the beast," Hamilton said of the calls for his head. "I understand that and embrace that challenge of making sure that, on a weekly basis, we put our players in the best position to be successful."

Jacksonville Jaguars

Henne knows he has to win. Quarterback Chad Henne, who will start ahead of rookie Blake Bortles for at least one more week, says he knows he has to produce wins if he wants to keep his job. "If you start winning, you stay in," Henne said. "If you keep losing, and the offense isn’t going where it’s supposed to be going, I understand there’s going to be a switch being made. I’m fully aware of that."

O-line breakdown. How many of the 10 sacks the Jaguars offensive line surrendered in Week 2 were caused by Henne holding the ball too long? Big Cat Country breaks down each one to find out

Cyprien cleared to return. Safety Jonathan Cyprien, who suffered a concussion in Week 1, has been cleared to resume practicing. Barring a recurrence of symptoms, Cyprien should play in Week 3.

Tennessee Titans

Locker film review. Music City Miracles takes a close look at how and why Jake Locker struggled to move the ball against a weak Dallas Cowboys defense in Week 2.

McCourty's streak in jeopardy. Jason McCourty's streak of 37 consecutive starts could end this weekend. The Titans' top cornerback suffered a groin injury in Week 2 and is in a race against the clock to be ready to suit up vs. the Cincinnati Bengals.

Life with ALS. Former Titans linebacker and special teamer Tim Shaw describes what it's like to be told you have ALS and begin life with the neurodegenerative disease
