Giants announce Jon Beason re-aggravated foot injury

The New York Giants announced that linebacker Jon Beason re-aggravated a foot injury Sunday that caused him to miss much of the team's offseason activities. 

According to the team, Beason may travel to North Carolina this week to visit foot specialist Dr. Robert Anderson.

Beason was a positive influence on the Giants defense in 2013 when he joined the squad midseason and the timing of this latest setback couldn't be worse, given the fact the G-Men are off to an 0-2 start.
