Decker (hamstring) aggravated a previous right hamstring ailment Sunday, and his status for Week 3 against the Bears is uncertain, the Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports.

Analysis:

Decker exited during the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Packers after a prior right hamstring issue resurfaced. The Jets' wideout didn't return to the game but still finished with a team-leading four receptions (on seven targets) for 63 yards and a touchdown. Considering Decker's same hamstring forced him to miss time during the preseason, his progress this week should be crucial in determining his availability to play the Bears. Fortunately, that game isn't until next Monday night, affording Decker's hamstring an extra day of treatment but also creating a tricky situation for his owners. As such, expect his status and practice involvement to be updated throughout the week.
