After being shredded by Matthew Stafford in Week 1, the New York Giants' secondary found its footing against Drew Stanton and the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, but it reportedly came at a cost.
Thurmond, a former member of Seattle's Legion of Boom, was brought over on a one-year deal in March.
The 27-year-old contributed four tackles in two starts for the winless Giants.
