Chiefs' Jamaal Charles suffers sprained ankle; to undergo MRI on Monday

Running back Jamaal Charles suffered a sprained ankle during the Kansas City Chiefs' loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday. 

Charles is set to undergo an MRI on Monday morning, according to NFL.com's Ian Rapoport.

Knile Davis filled in admirably for Charles, scampering for 79 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 22 carries.

The loss of Charles for an extended period of time would be devastating for a Chiefs offense that has only managed 27 points in the first two games of the season.
