Gary Barnidge could see more offensive reps Week 2 against the Saints, as starter Jordan Cameron is currently day-to-day with a shoulder injury, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Barnidge could see more offensive reps Week 2 against the Saints, as starter Jordan Cameron is currently day-to-day with a shoulder injury, Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.

Analysis:

Barnidge saw 43 snaps on offense last week against the Steelers, which was seven less than fellow tight end Jim Dray. Each option saw two targets in the passing game, but Barnidge hauled in just one of those passes for a total of 13 yards. Although Barnidge drew the start in the preseason when Cameron was unavailable, the 6-foot-6 tight end has never caught more than two passes over 49 NFL games, so he isn't regarded as a high-quality fantasy option heading into Week 2.
