League confirms Wes Welker suspended 4 games for PED violation
The Denver Broncos will officially be without wide receiver Wes Welker because of a PED violation.
The team was reportedly holding out hope that Welker would be able to play in Week 1 since the suspension wasn't announced by the league as of Tuesday evening.
However, the league confirmed the suspension a short time ago.

Broncos head coach John Fox is ready to move on without Welker for the first month.

Welker will be eligible to return October 12 when the Broncos face the New York Jets.
