Report: Harrison to take physical Friday; agreement with Cardinals not a 'foregone conclusion'

The Arizona Cardinals will take a closer look at James Harrison on Friday as the free agent linebacker is "tentatively scheduled" to undergo a physical at the team's headquarters.
While the examination typically represents the final hurdle before a deal is signed, Kent Somers of AZCentral.com cites a source who suggests that an agreement is not necessarily a "foregone conclusion."
Harrison, an 11-year veteran, spent the 2013 season with the Cincinnati Bengals, notching 30 total tackles, two sacks and an interception.
The diminishing linebacker was a key member of a Pittsburgh Steelers defense that did enough to hold off a second-half surge from the Cardinals in Super Bowl XLIII.
